Over 700,000 active podcasts

There are over 700,000 active podcasts as of 2019, so how in the world do you pick something to listen to? And according to a quick Google search in 2018, the number of podcasts was 550,000. That's a big jump.

So, there's plenty to pick from for sure...

So this is my attempt to help narrow it down to just a few of my favorites as of today. Thanks to others that have made recommendations to me.

My son's favorite word this year made it into a song by one of his favorite artists, Randall Goodgame. I missed his initial reaction when he heard this song, but my wife said it was hilarious. I don't think he could believe that someone would sing a song about poop. Way to go Randall Goodgame! Way to write a song that sticks in your head and that's catchy and includes the word poop in it. Be brave and ask for help

We were at the library yesterday and my daughter wanted to find some Doc McStuffins books. I told her she could ask the librarian for help to figure out where they might be if she really wanted them, but she was going to have to ask. I told her I'd go with her. It took a little coaxing, and the librarian was really patient. But, she did get the words out and the librarian helped her find a Doc McStuffins book. Plus, she asked my daughter if she wanted to go in the back and find another Doc McStuffins book that had just been returned. So Josie got to go in the back with the librarian and find the book that had just gotten returned. It was kind of a fun teaching moment for me with Josie. If she hadn't asked the librarian for help she probably wouldn't have found those books and she definitely wouldn't have gotten to go by herself in the back with the librarian to find a second Doc McStuffins book. We have a website for our rental property and I created it a couple months ago now. I know it's a solid website with the correct information and it looks good. But I've since learned that there's also a whole other side to a website as well. SEO. Our website address is lazyladygulfshores.com . It's not a super long website address, but most people aren't going to type it in. Most are either going to click to it from somewhere else like social media or they're going to Google something and possibly find it that way. The challenge is getting our website to rank very high for more general terms since most people aren't going to type "lazy lady gulf shores". That's where SEO starts to come in. I'm learning that there are all kinds of things you can do to help your pages rank better.
