Perfectly cooked chicken
We got a sous-vide cooker in a grab for Christmas and we used it for the first time last week. And I have to say it's the most perfectly cooked chicken I've ever had. Granted it took about 90 minutes to cook the chicken and then you have to sear it in a pan, but it was perfect.
If you've never cooked with a sous-vide before it's fairly simple. You basically put your meat in a plastic bag in a pot of water and the sous-vide cooks the meat in a hot water bath for over an hour. It's slow cooking instead of fast. And it's worth the wait.
