Thank you for

Thank you for three kids and a wife. Thank you for a warm home. Thank you for our health. Thank you for our parents really close. Thank you for the town in which we live. Thank you for a church close by. Thank you for siblings that know Jesus. Thank you for jobs that are continuing to do well. Thank you for the food available. Thank you for vehicles to go to places. Thank you for our rental property that was a success this year. Thank you for a mind that can think clearly. Thank you for the good news of Jesus coming to die for sinners like me. Thank you for your forgiveness. Thank you for a refrigerator to keep our food from spoiling. Thank you for the dishwasher to wash our dishes. Thank you for warm showers. Thank you for good books to read. Thank you for music to listen to. Thank you for stories told through movies. Thank you for podcasts. Thank you for the ability to find things on the Internet. Thank you for a warm blanket. Thank you for coffee in the morning. Thank you for the ability to talk to someone with a few button pushes or even see them for that matter. Thank you for cameras to record little moments at any time. Thank you for people to talk to. Thank you for our washing machine and dryer. Thank you for a sump pump that works. Thank you for the ability to do some home projects. Thank you for a vacuum cleaner. Thank you for water. Thank you for people willing to write. Thank you for people that design good things. Thank you for those willing to teach. Thank you for the people that pick up garbage and for those that deliver the mail. Thank you for politicians that are not corrupt and truly care about the people they serve. Thank you for your protection. Thank you for clothes to wear. Thank you for a heart that keeps beating. Thank you for my grandparents that are a block away. Thank you for bringing back to Morton. Thank you for the oven and microwave. Thank you for the couch to relax on in the morning. Thank you for a toilet.

This is one of the best exercises you can do. Just start listing out things you're thankful for. It gets your mind off of you and onto God and others. Instead of thinking if I only had that or I really need this, remember how much you have. Remember who it's all from and who it ultimately belongs to. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and we have a lot to be thankful for.

Thank you God for all of the things listed above. Even if I had very few of them (which would be really hard) I'm thankful for the gift of saving my soul by way of the payment of your son, Jesus', life. His conquering of death through his resurrection. Your sending of the Holy Spirit and changing me and interceding on my behalf through my life both now and until my life is over.
